Monte Loureiro sits on a quiet hillside in the Western Algarve, where the land slopes gently down toward the Atlantic. It's not a hotel and not a resort — just a place to slow down, breathe, and let the days unfold without a plan.
Mornings are simple here: birdsong, the pool catching the first light, the sea somewhere in the distance. There's space to be alone, and space to be with others, exactly as you need.
Come for a few nights, or stay long enough to feel the rhythm of the place settle into you. Find Your Peace.

Nine simple rooms, each with its own quiet character — a double bed, twin beds, or bunk beds for groups travelling together. Most can take an extra bed or a baby cot on request, so there's room for however your group is shaped.
There's no private ensuite, but four shared bathrooms keep things easy, and a shared kitchen stays open to all guests around the clock. Free Wi-Fi runs throughout the property, in the rooms and beyond.
Step outside and you're already there: the pool, and the forest all around. Everything close, nothing crowded.
Some of the best moments at Monte Loureiro happen outside your room — in the kitchen, at the table, in the quiet stretch between breakfast and whatever comes next. Nothing here is assigned or scheduled; you find your own rhythm.
Our shared kitchen stays open to all guests, day or night, fully equipped for cooking your own meals at your own pace. The living and dining area sits right alongside it — a place where slow mornings tend to turn into longer evenings.
No rush, no programme, no one telling you where to be. Just space, light, and room to settle in however you need to.

Just beside the house, a eucalyptus grove stands quiet and unhurried. No trail with a destination, no map needed — just trees, light filtering through the canopy, and a path that invites you to slow down.
It's one of those places that asks nothing of you. Step in, walk a little, stop when you feel like it. The morning light comes through differently here, and the stillness tends to stay with you longer than expected.
Step outside and it's already there. Nothing to plan, nothing to find. Just a place to breathe, and let the day take its time.
